Engage

Artist, researcher, and teacher Alexa Miller is an educational thought leader and recognized expert on the topics of medical uncertainty and patient-centered teamwork.

Alexa’s work has shaped the movement among medical schools to integrate visual arts education, as well as the groundbreaking podcast series, The Nocturnists: Uncertainty in Medicine.

An original co-creator of Harvard Medical School’s Training the Eye program, Alexa has contributed to research on the impact of arts experience on clinical cognition, and her consulting over two decades with medical schools has been a driving force in the movement of partnerships between art museums and schools of health.
