I kicked off 2013 with a new tradition for Arts Practica – New Years cards! I created them in gratitude to friends and colleagues making the world better – and then sent them all over that very world.
I chose this quote by Einstein to share because I love it so:
I love it because it reminds me to stay curious on the edge of the unknown. It reminds me that this is not only what real learning is all about, but is one of life’s great marvels – even though it’s tough.
And I shared it in hopes that it could remind all of us that the mysterious – the experience of not having all the answers – is an authentic part of learning and understanding. A beautiful part. What if our education system made a little more space for students to have the authentic experience of marveling, searching, not-knowing?
Best wishes to all for beautiful experiences throughout 2013.
PS – if you enjoy this quote and would like a card in hard copy, please email me your mailing address and the Arts Practica Productions Assistant will get right on it.
